What is ePacket shipping?

ePacket shipping is a shipping option offered by merchants in Hong Kong and China, in conjunction with the US Postal Service, created specifically for eCommerce. It provides a means of shipping lightweight items overseas from China and Hong Kong at affordable rates and faster speeds. ePacket shipping allows for packages originating from China or Hong Kong to be shipped with USPS First Class Mail with a delivery confirmation. Overall, ePacket shipping is an improved system for receiving purchases from vendors in Hong Kong or China where many manufacturers are located. In addition to the United States, 35 other countries support the receipt of ePacket deliveries using their own domestic mail carriers.

To qualify for ePacket shipping, a package must originate in China or Hong Kong, measure no more than 24″ (60 cm) in length, and have a total length, height, and width of no more than 36″ (90 cm). The weight must not exceed 4.4 lbs (2 kg) and the total value of the parcel’s contents cannot exceed $400.
